SODA_CANS explores the relationship between image and text. The artwork aims to study how text itself can create mental images and how these images are influenced by the non-text content of the works. The series also explores how text can lose its basic purpose and become a visual element when presented at a large scale and in relation to the abstract content. I wanted to keep the textual content at an ambiguous level in order to emphasize, rather, the interpretative power of the image.

The text in the images was displayed at a small scale on a monitor and then rephotographed with a low-quality digital camera.
